Unlimited mode lets you generate on 30+ models without consuming credits. When Unlimited is on, your image generations, edits, and select video generations on supported models don't consume credits.
It's the best mode for exploring ideas, experimenting with styles, and iterating freely. Speed and generation times may vary depending on platform demand — for production work where you need priority speed and consistent quality on every generation, credits are the way to go.
Which plans include Unlimited?

Credits and Unlimited: how they work together
Unlimited generations lets you create with AI without watching a credit counter. Speed and generation times may vary, and no priority applies — it's the best mode for exploring, experimenting, and testing ideas.
Credits are for when speed, priority, and consistency matter. For high-demand models, credits deliver a noticeably better experience: priority speed, no queue, consistent quality on every generation.
Think of Unlimited as your creative playground, and credits as your production tool. Both have a place — they serve different moments in your workflow.
As the platform grows, the models included in Unlimited may change. This is how we make sure Freepik keeps delivering the best experience for every creator on it.
Unlimited ON vs OFF
You can switch between modes at any time from within any supported tool. For the best results on professional and time-sensitive work, use credits by turning the Unlimited toggle off — you get priority speed and consistent quality on every generation.
| Mode | Credits | Speed | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unlimited ON | No credits used | Speeds may vary during peak demand | Exploring, testing ideas, iterating freely |
| Unlimited OFF | Credits consumed | Priority speed on every generation | Production work, final outputs, time-sensitive projects |
Fair usage
Millions of creators use Freepik every day to generate images, videos, and assets—and that number keeps growing. The platform is bigger than ever, and so is the demand on it.
To keep the platform fast and reliable for everyone, we manage how resources are distributed during periods of high demand. What this means for you:
- Generation speeds may vary during periods of high demand. There is no cap on what you can create — this only affects speed, not access.
- Most users won't notice any difference.
- For the best experience — priority speed, no queue, and consistent quality on every generation — use credits. Just turn the Unlimited toggle off.
What's not allowed
Unlimited Generations are intended for individual, human use only. The following are not allowed:
- Automation, bots, or scraping tools
- Account or credential sharing
- Reselling access to unlimited generation
If unusual activity is detected, we may temporarily pause your access while we review your account.
If your access is paused
Freepik may pause or disable Unlimited Generations if it detects account sharing or automated tool usage. If this happens, you will see a message explaining the reason. You can still download your content and continue generating using credits during the pause.
